Itinerary
Expand allDay 1: Dehradun to Gangotri
Drive from Dehradun to Gangotri via Uttarkashi. Enjoy scenic views of rivers, valleys, and mountain landscapes. Reach Gangotri, visit the temple, and stay overnight.
Day 2: Gangotri to Chirbasa
Start trekking along the Bhagirathi River towards Chirbasa. The trail passes through pine forests and offers stunning mountain views. Reach campsite and relax.
Day 3: Chirbasa to Bhojbasa
Continue trekking towards Bhojbasa through open valleys and rugged terrain. Enjoy views of Bhagirathi peaks. Reach Bhojbasa and rest.
Day 4: Bhojbasa to Gaumukh to Tapovan
Trek to Gaumukh Glacier and then climb towards Tapovan. This is a challenging day involving glacier crossing and steep ascent. Reach Tapovan campsite.
Day 5: Explore Tapovan
Spend the day exploring Tapovan. Enjoy close views of Mt. Shivling and surrounding peaks. Relax and acclimatize.
Day 6: Tapovan to Bhojbasa
Descend back to Bhojbasa via Gaumukh. Enjoy scenic views and easier descent.
Day 7: Bhojbasa to Gangotri
Trek back to Gangotri through the same trail. Rest and relax at hotel.
Day 8: Gangotri to Dehradun
Drive back to Dehradun with unforgettable memories.
