Ruinsara Tal, situated at around 11,800 ft, is surrounded by majestic peaks like Swargarohini, Black Peak (Kalanag), and Bandarpoonch. The lake remains partially frozen during early summer and reflects the surrounding mountains, creating a magical landscape.
The trail takes trekkers through lush meadows, alpine forests, and river crossings, offering diverse scenery throughout the journey. The region is rich in flora and fauna and provides a glimpse into the traditional lifestyle of remote villages like Osla.
